WHAT TO EXPECT FROM MASSAGE:

After a session most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches
and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness and greater productivty which can last for days. Since toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage, it is recommended that you drink plenty of water following your massage.

SWEDISH MASSAGE
The most common form of massage. A system of smooth, definitive strokes and gentle kneading to induce relaxation of the muscles and enhance one's overall well being. This type of massage increases circulation and has been sited as improving one's immune system.

MEDICAL MASSAGE
This massage is beneficial in treating many musculosketal pathologies which include but are not limited
to Sciatia, Carpel Tunnel, TMJ, Plantor Fasciitis, Migranes, Fibromyalgia, Frozen Shoulder, Whiplash, Scoliosis, Tendonistis, Bursitis and pain associated with disc herniations. An orthopedic focused therapy that provides relief of chronic and acute pain, increases Range of Motion, enhances flexibility and reconditions impaired muscle function. This approach incorporates Swedish Techniques, Myofacsial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy coupled with Passive, Active or Resisted stretching techniques.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Works into deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to smooth and separate muscle fibers
and break up scar tissue for rehabilitative purposes. Application of pressure to "trigger points"
- painful, irritated areas in muscles, that when released, restore circulation and proper functioning
of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

SPORTS MASSAGE
This massage can enhance your workout, increase circulation to aid in the removal of toxins, prevent soreness, and relieve muscle spasms. As part of one's health routine, it can help
your body prevent injury, recover from the stresses of exercise, facilitate conditioning
and aid in injury recovery.

WORK-SITE CHAIR MASSAGE
The Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine reported that employees
who received 15- minute massages twice a week at work were more alert and adept at math problems,
as well as less stressed and depressed than those who spent their time relaxing in other ways. Wellness
at the work place can contribute to increasing overall employee productivity and efficiency. Work- Site massage is performed in a specially designed massage chair.

MATERNITY MASSAGE
Massage during pregnancy can relieve fatigue, headaches, leg cramps, calm an active
baby and enhance sleep. In addition massage can stimulate blood flow, which may assistin
reducing anemia and edema.

HOT STONE MASSAGE
A soothing Swedish Massage combined with heated stones and essentials oils.
The stones are smooth basalt lava which provide a deeply therapeutic release
of tight muscles and relieve stress.
